Kiunga Marine National Reserve is a beautiful marine national reserve in Kenya situated along Kenya’s spectacular Indian Ocean. The reserve is a pristine ecosystem incorporating a chain of about 50 calcareous islands and coral reefs in the Lamu Archipelago and is located on the Indian coast of Lamu District, Coast Province covering an area of 270 square kilometers.

Visitors can view the teeming sea life in the coral reefs, sea grass and extensive mangrove forests which are a refuge for sea turtles and dugongs. The reserve provides ideal opportunities for windsurfing, diving and snorkeling, water skiing and sunbathing.
